We got the chance to dog sit our cousin-dog Cosmo while Darcy and Tim were in Hawaii. The girls absolutely LOVE having a dog around. Especially Lucy, you should see how darling she is walking Cos on the leash. They girls were pretty much "in charge" of Cosmo and his care. Food, water, walks, letting him out etc. Every night there was a fight over who Cos would sleep with...little did they know he curled up at the end of our bed as soon as the girls were asleep! We had the best time! We were really missing him Monday...morning walks, crumb cleaning, the cuddling, and his watch-dog tendencies. Ironically we got a call about a well trained pug named Axel who is in need of a home. We are second on the list of interested families. He is 6 years old. Great with kids and other dogs. He is crate trained and excelled at obedience school. We don't know what will happen, but we feel like Axel could be an answer to our pet prayer. We'll see. :) More news to come on Friday.
(Don't freak out Mom, the previous owners will watch him whenever we are out of town...IF we get to adopt him. :) )
